Bowden Close House has 6 spacious and comfortable self catering holiday lets which are all two-bedroomed, tastefully decorated and furnished and consist of 3 apartments in a purpose built extension to the main house; 2 two storey self-contained wings and a detached bungalow in the grounds. There is ample parking in our private car park and guests are welcome to use our garden, mainly to the south of the house, which takes advantage of the beautiful views. There is a gate from the garden which gives access to a lane that leads to Maidencombe beach. Near the beach there is a delightful old thatched inn which has a very popular restaurant and lovely garden. Close by is access to the South West Coastal Path which runs from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset and at 600 miles the longest coastal walk in the country. Dartmoor with all its many attractions and the lovely towns of South Devon, including Dartmouth and Totnes, are all within easy reach. The area is full of National Trust properties and gardens in addition to the usual holiday attractions.
