Most of the coastal resorts such as Newquary, Torbay,Ilfracombe and Bude can easily be reached within an hours drive.Those that are more active can see the abundant wildlife whilst walking or you can hire a horse (localy) to go pony trekking on Dartmoor visit one of four golf courses.The knole is a good base to be for touring West DEVON.We are only 3 miles from the A30 Exeter 29 miles, Plymouth 30 miles.
